One of the greatest cycling films of all time, now available on DVD!

Highly acclaimed Danish filmmaker Jorgen Leth brings you the drama of Paris-Roubaix in a film that became a foreign classic in the United States. "A Sunday in Hell" is not only a study of the battle between Merckx, De Vlaeminck, Martens and Moser the pavé but it is also a powerful documentary film. A classic psychological and dramatic study of what it means to race in a Spring Classic.

This DVD also includes a 'how-it-was-made' 12-page booklet, written by Jorgen Leth, plus as an extra-special bonus, it includes the short documentary: Vive le Tour- a dazzling, impressionistic study of the 1962 Tour de France. This short film, directed by legendary French filmmaker - and major cycling fan - Louis Malle, is a physical study of the the gruelling event as told by its participants, with narration by Jean Bobet.
